| Description | Jim Kelly - "Busy Looking Good" 11x17" By Robert "Kung Fu Bob" O'Brien March, 2012 This is a hand drawn piece I did of karate expert, action star Jim Kelly. The piece was done with the intent of capturing the spirit of the classic action film theatrical posters of the '70s. There are bits in there inspired by some of Jim's films like ENTER THE DRAGON, THREE THE HARD WAY, BLACK SAMURAI, THREE THE HARD WAY, BLACKBELT JONES, and HOT POTATO. The original line drawing was accomplished with pencil ind ink, then colored/painted using a Bamboo Wacom tablet and digital pen in PhotoShop (a first for me). This artwork has been professionally reproduced as vibrant 11x17" prints on glossy 12 pt. light card-stock paper. |
