Description	Takashi Miike - "A Surreal Portrait" Limited Edition Print 11x17” By Robert "Kung Fu Bob" O'Brien December, 2003 This item is a hand drawn piece of art that I created as a tribute to Japanese director Takashi Miike. In the piece he is depicted as a gonzo yakuza member, much like you'd find in one of his movies. As far as details go, all the neon signs are made up of the titles for films he directed (though I used Chinese kanji), and his "yakuza tattoos" are made up of images from scenes in his films too. Among the tattoos are you'll find pics from the DEAD OR ALIVE trilogy, ICHI THE KILLER, THE HAPPINESS OF THE KATAKURIS, VISITOR Q, FUDOH, and many others. The original art was accomplished with pencil, ink, markers, and acrylic paints.  This artwork has been professionally reproduced as vibrant 11x17" prints on glossy 12 pt. light card-stock paper.
