| Description | Lone Wolf and Cub - "The Assassin's Road" 11x17"” By Robert "Kung Fu Bob" O'Brien December, 2005 This is a hand drawn piece of art that I created as a tribute to the classic LONE WOLF AND CUB films, TV show, and manga. This is the second piece in a planned series of art based on the subject. It depicts Lone Wolf Ogami Itto (as portrayed by Tomisabura Wakayama) and his son Daigoro walking the path between Heaven and Hell, in their quest for vengeance against the evil Yagyu clan. That clan's leader- Yagyu Retsudo's demented visage hovers above them, taunting them, while the demon markers used to hire the father and son assassins flank them. The original art was accomplished with color pencil, ink, marker, and a touch of acrylic paints. This artwork has been professionally reproduced as vibrant 11x17" prints on glossy 12 pt. light card-stock paper. |
